Donations Terms and Refund Policy

Effective Date: August 4, 2025

1. General Donation Terms

All donations made to ShinePoint Prevention Institute are voluntary and non-refundable, except as expressly described below. Donations may be made as one-time contributions or as recurring contributions, depending on donor preference and the options available at the time of donation. Donations are processed in U.S. Dollars (USD). Donors are responsible for any currency conversion fees or other transaction fees that may apply.

2. Recurring Donations

If you choose to set up a recurring donation, you authorize ShinePoint Prevention Institute to automatically charge your selected payment method on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly, quarterly, or annually). You may cancel or modify your recurring donation at any time by contacting us at support@shinepointhealth.com at least 7 business days prior to the next scheduled payment date.

3. Refund Policy

Due to the nature of charitable donations and the immediate use of funds to support our programs, ShinePoint Prevention Institute does not typically issue refunds. Refunds may be granted at the sole discretion of ShinePoint Prevention Institute in the following circumstances: a donation was made in error, an incorrect donation amount was entered, or a recurring donation was processed after a cancellation request was submitted. Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the donation date.

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us with the following information: Full Name, Email Address, Donation Amount, Date of Donation, Reason for Refund Request. Refund requests should be sent to: Email: support@shinepointhealth.com with the subject line "Donation Refund Request".

5. Tax-Deductible Donations

ShinePoint Prevention Institute is a [501(c)(3)] nonprofit organization. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Donors will receive a donation receipt via email for their records after payment is successfully processed.

6. Third-Party Payment Processors

All donations are processed through secure third-party payment processors such as PayPal, Stripe, or other donation platforms. These processors handle all payment transactions on behalf of ShinePoint Prevention Institute. We do not store your credit card or payment information on our servers.
